5. Liverpool vs Porto
Jurgen Klopp will be quite happy to avoid some of the big guns in the Champions League and face a comparatively easy draw in Porto. That being said, beating Porto will not be a cakewalk in any way. Porto have scored 15 goals in 6 games, averaging 2.5 goals per game and given Liverpool’s vulnerabilities at the back; it sure will be an interesting encounter as we can expect plenty of goals to galore in both the legs.
4. Manchester United vs Sevilla
Jose Mourinho’s men have not been at their very best lately and a draw against Sevilla will surely test them thoroughly. Sevilla at the other hand, have been very inconsistent in their group stage matches as they managed to win only 2 matches from the six group matches. United definitely have the upper hand but we have learnt from the 3-3 draw between Sevilla and Liverpool that the Spanish side cannot be written off even when they are not at their best.
3. Tottenham vs Juventus
This can turn out to be a very interesting tie given the style of play of both the teams. Juventus have been a little vulnerable defensively this season while Spurs have been very impressive in the Champions League this season, topping the group that included big teams like Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. Spurs definitely have the firepower to give Juventus one hell of a fight and it is safe to say that the two times finalists in the last three years will also have a strong plan to outsmart the English club.
2. Chelsea vs Barcelona
It is definitely one of the most interesting fixtures in the round of 16 as both teams have a great history between the two of them when it comes to the Champions League. Lionel Messi has never struggled more against any club as he has against Chelsea. It is surely going to be one big test for Antonio Conte and his men as the Premier League Champions face the mighty Catalan side early in the Champions League. Eden Hazard and Lionel Messi are the two players from their respective sides to look up to, to make a difference in this amazing fixture.
1. PSG vs Real Madrid
Real Madrid have always been intensely strong challengers in the Champions League while PSG in spite of having a terrific squad time and again have struggled to go all the way in the tournament. But this time, things are expected to be different. With PSG heavily investing in the likes of Neymar and Mbappe, they look a dangerous side. Zinedine Zidane will have to sort out a brilliant plan to overcome this PSG side and Unai Emery and his men look to beat the Los Blancos.
