Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father on his son’s bout with McGregor

The UFC 229 in Las Vegas will feature the much-awaited fight between Connor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. The undefeated light weight champion will put his title on the line against the former champion McGregor. This mega match is one of the most awaited fights in UFC history with two years in the making. When asked about his son’s match against McGregor, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, Khabib’s father as well trainer, had some very scathing words to say about the former two division champion. Nurmagomedov senior even went on to say that Connor was an unworthy challenger and Dustin Poirier was much more deserving. The 155 pounds category has many fighters who are much stronger than McGregor and McGregor would have no chance if he fought at the light weight division, added the coach. Both the fighters base their strategies on very contrasting styles. While Khabib is the best grappler, McGregor is the best striker in the division. Khabib’s father said that, his son will very much choke out McGregor and that no coach can prepare Connor to be a grappler like Khabib.

Dana White says McGregor is one of the most underrated fighters

UFC president Dana White has everyone in splits right now. Recently he was quoted saying that Connor McGregor is one of the most underrated fighters in the UFC. Moreover, this is not even the first time White has said something bizarre like this. The UFC president previously had said the same about Ronda Rousey. Coming to McGregor, he is the most popular and marketable star in UFC with a 21-3 record with 18 knockouts. To say such a fighter is underrated might be a bit out of line. Always a betting favourite before any match, McGregor is White’s most bankable star. Next, the former champion will face off against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 in Las Vegas.

Duane Ludwig hopes for T.J. Dillashaw to challenge the fly weight title

T.J. Dillashaw is hoping to be the best MMA fighter to have ever lived. His coach, Duane Ludwig certainly believes Dillashaw will reach that level. Ludwig wants Dillashaw to next challenge for the fly weight title. The current bantam weight champion, Dillashaw has cemented his position as the best fighter in that category. Dillashaw even wanted Demetrious Johnson at 125 pounds but he was booked to face Cody Garbrandt at UFC 227. Dillashaw knocked out his long-time rival in the first round itself. Now Ludwig hopes that Dillashaw will go down to the fly weight to challenge the title from Henry Cejudo. He believes that if Dillashaw manages to beat Cejudo, he would undoubtedly become one of the best MMA fighters of all time.
