5. Luke Shaw
It is unfortunate that the English youngster had to stay away from the game for months due to a broken leg. He showed good progress initially under Mourinho before he got injured, but it has been a different case after his return. He has struggled to impress the Portuguese manager as Jose has time and again raised concerns over Shaw’s attitude and dedication. It has been long that he has made a start for United and it is the time that he looks elsewhere if he is to get regular game time and book a place in the World Cup squad next year.
4. Matteo Darmian
The Italian is a versatile full-back who can play on either side of the pitch. Darmian is defensively very efficient. While it is his attacking side that has been a concern, any team would be blessed to have a player of Darmian’s quality. The Italy international needs to play regularly with the quality he possesses, and it is best if he seeks a move out to do what’s best for him.
3. Jesse Lingard
Lingard is out and out a true Mancunian with loads of love and passion for the club. But it is also true that many feel that he lacks the quality to be a United player. He has been more of a utility player for Mourinho rather than a regular starter. Lingard is already 24 and needs to play more than often to help develop himself. He could fit in most Premier League clubs, and it would be wise if he moves away for his own betterment.
2. Joel Pereira
Joel is highly rated by Jose Mourinho as he believes Joel is one of the best Portuguese goalkeepers of his generation. He recently a new deal with Manchester United but it is safe to say that he might have to wait years to get regular time at the club with the presence of quality keepers like David De Gea and Sergio Romero. It is only logical and practical that he moves to a club where he can get regular game time and make more progress in his career.
1. Axel Tuanzebe
Tuanzebe has been an excellent player for his age. At the age of 19, he has impressed many with some stunning performances at the senior level. He has the temperament, aggression and talent to become a strong figure at the back. But the possibility of him getting a regular start with the Red Devils remains questionable. With the competition around both at the club and international level, Tuanzebe needs to leave United to reach new levels in his career.
